CERTIFIED NURSING AIDE
DO YOU WANT TO PURSUE A CAREER IN THE BOOMING HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY AS A CERTIFIED NURSING AIDE (CNA)?
WHO IS A CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE:
Certified nurse aides help patients of all ages perform basic daily tasks under a nurse’s supervision. A CNA needs to help lift or move patients in this fast-paced environment. Attention to safety, compassion, communication, and critical-thinking skills are essential because patients depend on your care.
ā
Certified nurse aides are in demand in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospices, hospitals, and long-term care settings.
What Do We Offer:
At Texas Regional Healthcare Training Center, the Certified Nurse Aide Program is a targeted course designed to teach students the skills and abilities essential to provide primary care to patients and residents in hospitals and long-term care facilities. The student will learn how to perform CPR, check vital signs, and other essential skills required to be licensed as a C.N.A. To be approved, students must take the Texas Nurse Aide exam. The written exam may be in English or Spanish, and the skills will be performed when an examiner requests.
